“Music is my world and to be able to share it with others gives me a purpose in life and a satisfaction incomparable to anything else.” – Notorious Jen
This Los Angeles native has been commanding the decks ever since reaching the tender age of 16, having been introduced to DJ-ing by influential dance music producer and DJ friend, AJ Mora. Notorious Jen is known for her high-energy sets serving up a cocktail of crowd-pleasing pop, hip-hop, banging techno, disco and French electro tracks for Hollywood’s tragically hip. She can fill a dance floor with a variety of music to fit just about any request. She’s rad. She’s bad. And her enthusiasm is absolutely catagious.
A true original, Notorious Jen has had the privilege of opening up for famous crunk rap duo the Ying Yang Twins and indie rock act Elefant. She also had the pleasure working with Capitol Records to produce beats for Katy Perry. Since then she has started creating more of her own remixes and original music, most recently her single, NightSwim.
Notorious Jen collaborated with Rony Alwin (Rony’s Photobooth/Fun–Mag) and together they created the weekly dance party: La Violette. Attracting Hollywood’s hottest young stars and local socialites every Tuesday night at The Standard, Hollywood .
This DJ and Producer is an active member of the LGBTQ community. She is a sponsor for the annual Black and White Ball, which raises money to support critical programs and services offered by The LGBT Center of Long Beach. Notorious Jen is part of the creating team behind It’s a Drag to Give: a fundraising event showcasing prominent Long Beach locals performing in drag to raise money for The Center of Long Beach, The Women’s Shelter Long Beach, and Beacon for Him. Currently this will be Notorious Jen’s second year performing for Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride Festival and her third year performing in the annual Pride Parade. Look for her this year at the Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride Festival’s Dance Tent.
